Dining with a great view
Wonderful location on the water looking out at Salem harbor and the Friendship, a replica of a 19th century sailing vessel. Food is excellent with the option of a small plate. Outdoor deck on second floor with great view out to sea. Service is very good and the owner is usually present and warmly greets all guests. Captain's Special Salad was a great appetizer. The seafood dishes are especially good and an excellent value. My wife loved the lobster risotto.I highly recommend Captain's both to locals and to any visitors to Salem.
